Ingredients:
• Edible oil or ghee - 50ml
• 750g of Chicken or precooked Mutton / 300g Vegetables
• Aachi Hyderabadi Biryani Masala paste
• Basmati rice – 500g
• Water
• Salt – to taste
Cooking Direction:
• Rice preparation – Boil 1.5 liter of water with required amount of salt and the given whole spices (Pack 1). Add 500g Basmati rice to boiling water. Cook till half done (approx. 5- 7 min) Drain the rice and keep it aside.
• Briyani Masala preparation – Mix Briyani Masala paste (pack 2) with 300g vegetables/ 750g chicken or precooked mutton and marinate for 10 minutes. Add 20ml oil or Aachi ghee in a pan and cook the marinated vegetables or chicken/ meat for 15 minutes till tender and oil separates.
• Assembly - In a heavy bottom vessel layer half the quantity of cooked rice, pre prepared vegetables or chicken/ meat, mint and coriander. Repeat the layering once more. Pour Aachi ghee over the rice. Cover and cook on dum for 10 minutes on low flame. Serve hot.
